I write reproducible papers on topics with real-world applications

I am a PhD student in the VANDAL lab at Polytechnic of Turin since November 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Barbara Caputo, working on large scale visual geolocalization and image retrieval. I have previously worked as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon (2022), an Applied Scientist at the Italian Institute of Technology (2020/2021), and as a Software Engineer at Consoft (now Alten) (2017/2018).
I’m constantly looking for innovative solutions to real-world problems, which leads me to simultaneously publish in the world’s top conferences and develop efficient software, while keeping an eye on computational complexity and resources availability.
